A) WINTER LEAGUE
The Minnesota Division committee is currently seeking
everyone's opinion and thoughts on the possibility of having a short
winter league. We are currently working with the Northwest YMCA,
located in New Hope, in regards to this possible winter league.
We need to know if there is enough interest amongst everyone to
play during the winter. The idea is to try a winter league from
January through March. Having games be every other weekend. Exact
times and dates TBA. Let us know if you are interested.
B) Online Fund-raiser
The U.S. EWHA is going to launch an online fundraising campaign.
We encourage everyone to go to the link below and click on the banner
add saying: "Earn money just for having a start page".
The basic idea behind this fundraising option is to create a large
group of people to sign up for the program under the U.S. EWHA special
code, which is ILN848. It is totally FREE to sign up and only involves
you having a specific start page when you log onto the internet.
Thus, when you open up internet Explorer or Netscape (even AOL)
your home page will be set to a certain page. This company will
pay you as well as the U.S. EWHA, just to have their page as your
home page. They want you to view their advertisers on their page,
but there are no strings attached. It takes a couple of minutes
to sign up and you can quit at any time. Once you register, they
will contact you with information on how to correctly set up the
proper web address in your web browser. (It's easy.) If you sign
