PowerHockey Seeks Help Finding Stolen Trailer & Replacing Damaged Or Missing EquipmentMinnesota-based non-profit Minnesota PowerHockey™ League is seeking help in finding an equipment trailer that was stolen.
The equipment trailer with hockey equipment for individuals who utilize a power wheelchair in daily life was stolen late on January 25 or early on January 26 from Carburetion & Turbo Systems in Shakopee where it is parked during the winter months.
The equipment was found dumped on a road outside of Wayzata High School and included padded boards, hockey sticks, hockey nets, jerseys, P.A. speaker, scoreboard and other miscellaneous equipment. Some of the equipment was graciously recovered by the staff at Wayzata High School, however, some of it was damaged by cars running over it. An inventory of recovered equipment hasn’t been conducted yet, however, the value of the equipment stored in the trailer runs in the thousands.
The trailer is valued at $3,000 and is a white, 6x12’ fully-enclosed single-axle trailer with a blue PowerHockey logo on both sides.
This is the second trailer that has been stolen from PowerHockey in four years.
The 2012 Minnesota PowerHockey season is scheduled to start on April 28.
PowerHockey is seeking tips on the location of the trailer, as well as donations to cover the expenses of replacing any missing or damaged items, and a replacement trailer if the stolen one is not found.
Individuals with any information on the stolen trailer or interest in making a donation should contact Craig McClellan with PowerHockey at (763) 535-4736 or craigm@powerhockey.com.
