U.S. EWHA News Release 2-8-99
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Chicago Wheelchair Wolves are hosting a wheelchair hockey tournament
on March 13 & 14, 1999. Last year, this tournament was
for manual wheelchair hockey players.
Recently the Wheelchair Wolves contacted the U.S. EWHA with the
idea of having a division strictly for electric (power) wheelchair
hockey players. The U.S. EWHA will work with the Chicago organizers
to develop the electric (power) wheelchair division, in regards
to rules and finding more teams to participate.
We are very excited to be a part of the 1999 Role Model Cup. The
tournament will consist of a manual wheelchair tournament and an
electric (power) wheelchair tournament.
We do realize March is next month, but if anyone is within driving
distance of Chicago and would like to participate or come to watch
the tournament, please contact the U.S. EWHA. hockey@usewha.org
