Team profile:
The Australian PowerRoos is comprised of players who compete
in the National Electric Wheelchair Sports (Australia),
which also offers the sports of Soccer and Rugby League
in addition to Hockey.
Australia was invited to the World Electric Wheelchair
Hockey Cup in Utrecht, Netherlands in 1998. It was the first
time that an Australian Electric Wheelchair Sports Team
had competed in an International Tournament. Australia finished
8th.
Kirk Patrinos, Chris Dolovski and Richard Dolovski were
all members of the team which competed in Utrecht.
