Team profile:
The St. Paul Saints are in their first year of existence.
The Saints are the second PowerHockey traveling team
in Minnesota. The PowerHockey World Cup will be the first
time they have competed in a tournament. The Saints look
forward to making their debut in a tournament featuring
such a high level competition.
Most of the Saints team-members play on various teams in
the U.S.
Electric Wheelchair Hockey Association's (U.S. EWHA) Minnesota
Division. Players that have received Minnesota Division
awards are two-time defensive player of the year Jen Onsum
(1998 and '99), rookie of the year Joe Hugley (1999), and
goaltender of the year Sarah Heinsch (2000).
